Cookies:

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on Biblio.com. We link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.

We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser. Want list:

If you choose to use our 'want list' service, we will ask you for search terms that describe the item(s) you are seeking. We will use the search terms provided and the email address in your Biblio.com account to find matching items and periodically send you emails with links to matching items. You are required to create an account to use the 'want list service'. You may edit your want list at any time or opt out of the service by deleting your want list(s).

Mailing list:

When using Biblio you have the option to subscribe to our mailing list. If you subscribe to an email list, we will use your email address to send you periodic email messages from that list. You do not have to subscribe to an email list to create an account or to subscribe to the service. We will share your email address with our email provider for the sole purpose of delivering emails to you. We will not share your email address with any other party, and we will not send you email that is unrelated to the email list you joined. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of the promotional email messages we send or by contacting us directly. If you create an account you can also manage your email subscriptions from your account menu.

Create account:

When creating an account on Biblio we will ask for your email address, country of residence, and a password. We will use the email address and password provided to verify your identity when you log in to the website.. You must provide this information to create an account. We use your account to display your subscription history, An account is required to subscribe to the service.

Law Enforcement Requests:

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site. In addition we reserve the right to comply with law enforcement requests for information that we deem reasonable. Unless prohibited by law, we will notify you via email when we share your information as a result of these requests or legal processes.

Security Practices:

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter any information on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Beginning January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) provides California residents the right to explicitly opt out of the sale of their personal information. Biblio does not sell your personal information, nor does Biblio transfer personal information to any other party for any reason other than as explicitly disclosed above in this privacy policy. As explained above, you have the right to request a copy of or deletion of your data from Biblio at any time using the contact information provided.
